a bride to be
World, meet Mary Margaret!
She’s a beautiful bride who tied the knot with us back in December! Before we share her STUNNING wedding that was straight out of the richest antique shop, I wanted to give you a glimpse of who she is by sharing her bridal portraits! These photos are brought to you by the ever-so-talented Mark Eric!
details, details, details
Pure art, this dress!
And I can’t even explain to you how perfectly this bride was poured into it! It was one of those make-you-gasp kind of moments when she walked in the room! No wonder she had her man in tears when she walked down the aisle!
So this post is all about the details- and you know how I love details! This bride’s one request was that her wedding feel like a true New Orleans wedding! From her outdoor ceremony under a hundred year old oak, to Kermit Ruffins serenading them out to the Rolls, this was one beautiful and super classy seated dinner!
But you’ll just have to take my word for it and enjoy these details from Mark Eric’s camera!

Oh man… What a dress!!
This one goes out to all you lovers of classic, timeless, and elegant beauty! This stunning bride had one of the most gorgeous weddings in one of the most iconic buildings that we have to offer in LA- the Old State Capitol in Baton Rouge! It was the kind of wedding that you look back at in 50 years and still love every single thing about it!
We worked with a mix of amazing vendors from Nola and BR and it was so nice to merge my vendors from my past wedding life and my present wedding life! A past life that wasn’t so past at the time that Bette hired us! She and her mom were actually THE FIRST CLIENTS to trust my brand new company with their wedding planning! I couldn’t be more thankful to have their trust from day one of my little baby business with BIG dreams!
Enjoy the black and white beauty that is Bette and Geoff’s big day!
and the dress…oh the dress
Cheers to our amazing vendors who pulled together for such an amazing event!

I can’t even tell you how beautiful this couple, this family, and this wedding was!
I’m pretty sure the Ritz has never been so sparkly, and that includes the sparkle in the eyes of one of the happiest couples I’ve ever met! I mean, just super stunning!
We featured their rustic, chic rehearsal dinner at Galatoire’s on the blog last week, and now you get to meet the bride and groom!
Congrats Katie and Dean!
I’d wish you a lifetime of happiness, but I already know that that’s happening!
