My dear Amy and Brad… {Remember Amy from this super sweet blog post?}

When I tell you that this wedding was one of the most personalized, intimate weddings I have ever done… I mean it! The sweetest couple, the sweetest family, and the sweetest touches! I am so, so grateful to have been such a special part of their special day! 

With all of their guests coming in from out of town, they wanted to truly give them a New Orleans experience- and that they did! Their gorgeous ceremony and reception at Latrobes on Royal showed the guests what a New Orleans party was really like with the Boogie Men truly rocking the house! From the pieces of Amy’s mom’s wedding dress used to wrap the bouquet, to Amy’s sister and Maid of Honor singing an original song written for the couple… there was not a dry eye in the house! 

They also did something that I wish more of my girls would do, a first look! The first look allowed them the time to take these amazing sunset pictures prior to the ceremony so that they could enjoy every second of the reception! A super smart idea if you ask me!

After just a few (and way too short) months, I can’t believe the day has come when I have to start looking for another Allyson! She is headed back to Canada with her hubby and leaving me aaaalllll alone…unless one of you can come to the rescue!

Who’s up for the challenge?

I am looking for an amazing young girl to be my part time assistant! Since we are gearing up for the biggest wedding season of my career, I will need someone who can start as soon as she can to catch her up on all of the weddings to come! She must be someone who is knowledgable of the wedding industry in New Orleans, eager to be an integral part of Tying the Knot, and excited about the potential to have her own clients for wedding planning! She will become my right hand gal!
